These drill bits are designed with a 135° split point for self centering and reducing thrust. Can reduce drill time by 50% compared to 118° point. Made of high resistant M 42 cobalt. They display higher red hardness which permits speeds up to 30% greater than high speed drills. Cobalt drills are especially effective in drilling tough, high tensile strength materials like stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
