Description:
The Electronic Control Module is responsible for controlling and regulating various engine functions. It is located under the engine, near the fuel injection system and other engine components. The ECM is essentially the brain of the engine, and it uses sensors and other inputs to monitor various engine parameters, such as engine speed, temperature, engine emissions, and load.
Attributes:
• Provide alerts or warnings to the driver if a problem is detected
• Ensure that it is compatible with a 12/24-volt electrical system during operation
• Able to withstand operating and storage temperature range of -40° to 85°
Applications:
The Electronic Control Module is used to monitor and adjust the engine's output detect and diagnose engine imperfections, this is widely used in Cat 120, 12M, 140, 140M, 150, 160, 160M and 24 Motor Grader, 313, 315, 317, 320, 323, 325, 326, 330, 335, 336, 340, 349, 350, 352, 374, 395, 6040, 6060, 6060X, M314, M315, M316, M317, M318, M319, M320 and M322 Excavators, 836, CB10, CB7 and CB8 Compactor, AP1000, AP1000F, AP1055, AP1055F, AP400, AP455, AP500, AP500F, AP555, AP555F, AP600, AP600F, AP655, AP655F, RM600 and RM800 Paving Equipment, D1, D10, D11, D2, D3, D3K, D4, D4K, D5, D5K, D6, D6K, D7, D8, D8T, and D9 Track Type Tractor.
